Societe Generale Private Banking Suisse appoints Head of Russia & CIS desk in Zurich
Societe Generale Private Banking Suisse SA, “SGPB Suisse”, has appointed André Mankowsky as Head of its Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) desk in Zurich. His appointment took effect on 15 June 2015.
André Mankowsky joins SGPB Suisse from Deutsche Bank, where he was Managing Director, Market Head for Russia & Eastern Europe. Reporting to Julien Duniague, Head of Commercial and Marketing at SGPB Suisse, he will be responsible for continuing to strengthen the private bank’s existing relationships with Russian and CIS clients based both in Switzerland and overseas, and will be involved in developing services and products aimed specifically at this client segment. He will also work closely with Societe Generale Private Banking’s Russian and CIS client teams based in Geneva, London and Monaco.

André Mankowsky becomes a member of the SGPB Suisse Executive Sales Committee.
André Mankowsky joins SGPB Suisse from Deutsche Bank, where he spent 6 years as Managing Director, Market Head for Russia & Eastern Europe, based in Moscow and Zurich. Between 2006 and 2009, he was private banking Head of Eastern Europe / Russia Region with Credit Suisse in Zurich and London. From 2002, André Mankowsky worked for the Guernsey branch of Banque Cantonale Vaudoise, in charge of treasury operations, structured products issues and corporate funding. Prior to this, he occupied a number of positions in legal and compliance at different banks and law firms in Switzerland, London & Brussels.
