Yves Thieffry joined the Internal Audit Department of Societe Generale Group in 1982 and became Deputy Head of the Services Department of the Large Corporate Division in 1992.
He was appointed General Manager of Banco Supervielle Societe Generale in Argentina in 1995 and General Manager of Societe Generale in Madrid in 1998.
In January 2002, he took on the role of Head of Human Resources for Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking prior to becoming Chief Operating Officer in 2003.
In 2007 Yves was appointed Deputy CEO of Societe Generale Private Banking, and in 2011, he became a member of the private bank’s Executive Committee in charge of supervising Luxembourg, Switzerland, Monaco and the Middle East. He became Chief Executive Officer of Societe Generale Private Banking (Suisse) SA in 2012.
In March 2016, Yves Thieffry was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Société Générale Private Banking (Suisse) SA.
Yves Thieffry is a graduate of the Sorbonne University in Paris.
Paul-André Sanglard began his career in political economics in 1972 at the University of Geneva. In 1977, he joined the Swiss Federal Office of External Economic Affairs as an economist before becoming a research fellow at Stanford University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 1979, he became Head of the Canton of Jura’s public revenue office and member of the World Economic Forum Executive Committee from 1984 to 1989. He was in charge of public finance classes at the University of Geneva from 1982 to 1995.
An independent economist since 1989, Paul-André Sanglard is Director of the Board of Société Générale Private Banking (Suisse) SA since 2014 and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors as of 2017.
At the same time, he works as a Chairman, Vice-chairman and member of the Board of Directors for several companies.
Paul-André Sanglard holds a doctorate degree in economics from the University of Geneva.
